Dear Resident, Resident Representative and Healthcare Employees,

The level of community transmission in Luzerne County remains HIGH at 17.4%.  Individuals entering facility MUST continue to adhere to infection control measures at all times, which include cough & respiratory etiquette, masking at all times & hand hygiene.

Healthcare personnel and residents are testing as per guidelines. Facility is operating under CDC contingency staffing guidelines.

Do not visit if you have any signs or symptoms of respiratory illness.

The last + COVID19 was on 2/23/2023. TOTAL# of COVID19 cases since initial 12/3/2022 outbreak:

24 Residents tested Positive for COVID-19
4 Residents have recovered from COVID-19
33 Center Staff tested Positive for COVID-19** This number includes Ancillary staff, volunteers and/or vendors working in facility.
21 Center Staff have recovered from COVID-19
1 Resident had passed away while positive for the virus

Residents are considered “recovered” after completing their isolation period of ten days.

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

If you have any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 do NOT visit:

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Anyone can have mild to severe symptoms. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19: Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea/Vomiting/ Diarrhea (This list does NOT include all possible symptoms) *Additionally, do NOT visit IF you have a Fever of 100.0 °F or higher or report feeling feverish.
