Dear Residents, Families, Staff & General Public,
In the interest of protecting the health and wellbeing of all our residents and staff in accordance with CMS & PA-Department of Health, on 03/11/2020 the organization has suspended all visitation for all visitors at The Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and The Meadows Manor due to the increased presence of COVID-19 in the state of Pennsylvania. As we follow recommendations to avoid risk of transmission of COID-19, we are being mindful of the residents’ best interest and social interactions with family and loved ones, so wehave implemented telecommunications in which residents’ and family members can “Facetime” each other. The Organization’s Facebook Pages of Ecumenical Enterprises Inc. & The Meadows Nursing & Rehab we have instructions on how to download and request meetings with your loved one.
The CDC has made several recommendations to reduce the potential for the virus to enter our building. Our center is following those recommendations. These include strict handwashing procedures, and in many circumstances, wearing facemasks, gowns, and gloves when interacting with residents who are sick.
We also are staying up-to-date with the CDC recommendations. In addition, Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center & The Meadow Manoris following guidance from our local and state health departments.
The organization sincerely apologizes for the impact this may have on your families, and our Social Workers are here to aid the residents and family members during this time of difficulty. We will continue to evaluate the evolving situation and will notify you via Facebook once we deem the restrictions can be lifted.
We will notify you if any residents or staff are diagnosed with COVID-19. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
As always, the health and safety of our residents and staff remain our highest priority.
